A Long walk in Argopuro

Sunrise in Cikasur

 DAY 1

            I started from lawang by motor to sidoarjo before I went to bungur bus terminal at ten o’clock in surabaya. And I continued my way to basuki and arrived about 3 o’clock in the dawn.

           

DAY 2

            That day the journey was beginning. I was at basuki and I have to go to baderan before the sun is rising. On the way By pickup car from basuki to baderan is beautiful with sunrise,  unique places around and people with another language make me feel strange but enjoying. Just wanna smile in every step.

             Arrived in baderan about 07:00 AM and the license locket hasn’t opened still. So waiting for that about one hour then at 8 o’clock I started walking in Argopuro.  On the way in baderan was nice with hillness and foggy around. Just keep walking and enjoy the scenery.

And the next destination from baderan is Mata Air 1 that’s POST I. I spent about 8 hours by walking from baderan to Mata air 1, including break in the middle journey and waiting some friends. Arrived in mata air 1 at 4 o’clock and spending the night there.

DAY 3

            Wake up early morning in mata air 1 with the tweets of bird while waiting for sunrise. So directly took water and made a little breakfast then continue walking to cikasur at 8 o’clock.

            On the way through cikasur that took so long time and wide scenery environs. You know there’s some advice when walking here “Don’t walk alone especially at night” the meaning is there are many of liar animals and danger but I don’t think about ghost. Honestly I walked alone here caused my group are separated maybe because I didn’t know yet about cikasur so I could enjoy my walking and sometimes stopped to look around.

             About 11:30 AM I arrived in Cikasur Post and having lunch there. So calm and natural where is near water resource and where’s I camped and spent the night again there.

DAY 4

            In the morning in cikasur was so cold. So after woke up, I directly looking for shine of sun to harm my body. I met a peacock but I failed took its picture. So just could hear their tweets around cikasur.

 At 9 AM I decided to go to argopuro’s top. From cikasur to the top I have to pass cisentor and rawaembek then arrived in the middle between Argopuro’s top and Rengganis’s top about 02:30 PM.  That time I decided to hike argopuro’s top tough which is took my time about 1 hour of go and back.

Then directly to Rengganis’s top taking 30 minutes go and back. And at 4 o’clock in the afternoon I had finished 2 tops. And actually I would like to go back to cisentor directly but friends of my friend asked us to wait for them. So anyway we wait it. And in the twilight I was on the way to cisentor. I mean I camped and spending the night in cisentor.

DAY 5

            In the night in cisentor was really, really cold and felt like my body got freeze. Be grateful I could endure it. till the morning’s coming.

            Packing then continued my next journey to Taman Hidup. About 11 AM from cisentor the way to taman hidup felt fresh although  I know Its gonna take so long time on the way where is through Hilness, Cemoro Limo, Hutan Lumut and then get in Taman Hidup.

            Noted must to wear some discover clothes on this way because there’s many passion plants and insects but not deadly I think. In the whole journey from cisentor to taman hidup wasn’t feel so hard because not really slope upward. So tired at my feet when I arrived in taman hidup about 5 PM and decided to camp for the ending night. 

DAY 6

Taman hidup is a name of a lake in argopuro. That morning I wake up then took a walk around there.

             After satisfied sepnding time In Taman Hidup, I decided to Bremi Village to find mini bus and going home. And got in bremi in the day and you know its felt so free of worry when the I look at village. Take a rest, eating Bakso in bremi while waiting for mini bus there because there’s only one minibus that destine to city there and leave in the afternoon.

            In middle night I arrived in Bungur terminal in Surabaya. I mean I was near at home. And in the morning I have to work normally.

Life In The Clouds B29 Rock On

        it was nice journey when I could feel cold and breath in good air condition. I left at 8:00 PM from Sidoarjo and arrived in Lumajang at 03:00 AM by slowly speed and actually I visited B29 where is located at Argosari, Sendoro, Lumajang.

         B29 is hilliness area and a new place for tourist it have been started about last 2013 so you can buy the ticket in a cheap price that's only Rp.2000.  But before arriving at ticket locket you must walk about 3 KM or you also can use ojek transportation but if you're not in a hurry I suggest you to walk because using ojek is expensive enough the last I paid Rp.40.000 for one person in the night.

Hot but feel cold

        Most of people in B29 life with their garden. they have much garden with many kinds of Vegetable and you know there's also many kinds of flower or plants over there you can watch in my video.

         The way to reach B29 was awesome with plants and natural views around and some families go gardening make that's all perfect. I tried to created a video what I thought interesting when I passed. That's here we are__ Check it out.

The Climbing of Mount Penanggungan

Dramatic Nature

            That night there’re many bad news about sudden storm, earthquake, heavy rain that make the ground silk and all make me doubt to climb a mount especially in the middle night. But passion will never stop just because of bad information. This is not about body physic or situations this is about how courage our mental to overcome it.

Mount Penanggungan

            Mount Penanngungan is a small volcano and the elevation is about 1,653 m (5,432 ft). Located immediately on the north side of mt.Arjuno and mt.Welirang volcanic complex in East Java province, java island, Coordinates 7.62°S 112.63°E. Actually there are many temple or sacred places and monuments in this mountain dating from AD 977-1511. Unfortunately, I didn’t find the temple maybe because I didn’t explore the mount around. You know I started climbing in the middle night and the darkness make me hard to see around.

            For more than 3 hours I just reached the lembah bayangan (Shadow Valley) where is not too far to the top of penanggungan you need about one hour climbing to reach the top. In the dawn I decided to go on my climbing to the top. The track was really extreme and didn’t sleep all night made my body weak that’s really tired but I know that I still had to try. Until finally, all of my bleeding was paid when I got the beautiful nature in the top.

            The wind, the cloud, the sky, the sun, the mountain, the grass and the ground all I felt unite with them when I was standing on the top.

Finding Waterfall in the Jungle

Climbing a stone

                 I saw waterfall on map of google earth when I was searching some places by internet. Located of waterfall in side mt.gaung and actually there are two waterfalls.

                To get the waterfall I had to walk down in hill. Not so far but I’m sure you’re going to be tired if you do what I did. You know I walked down into the jungle without any map just using the instinct to find the way to waterfall. I passed road stony, dark and sometime hot condition. No matter it would be happened. I didn’t want to go back before I got my destination. 

                I was really satisfied when I saw the river in front of me and you know I thought that river near to waterfall then I climbed the rock stone and I saw the waterfall.

                  I had to cross the river to see waterfall from other side so I jumped into the river and got wet that’s not my problem because that day was dry season so I could getting sunbathe.  

Old bridge

                Before the final voyage, I told you that the stones around waterfall are sharp. Honestly I saw someone walked around without footwear when he was passing mountain stones his foot was scratched by stones then he got gory at his foot.

 I had to go hiking to find the way out of jungle but it didn’t need map because only one direction to exit. In middle way I found old bridge that looks conservatism but still strong enough and after passed bridge I hiked and found myself out of jungle.

Ok… I think enough for now and I’ll tell you another adventure next time :)
